In no particular order, over here in LA/San Fernando Valley

Kendrick Lamar - considered the best rapper right now by people that think of themselves as hip hop heads but not everyone likes him because some people don't give a fukk about lyrics and just want to bump stuff in the whip/club/parties

Tyga - I hang with a lot of pawgs and they love this guy, Rack City was huge for them.

Drake - Same as above, the slores love the guy

Nipsey Hussle - All the "gangstas" and "thugs" I know really like him. But he is pretty big in LA, even white girls at least know who he is.

Wiz Khalifa - I hang with a lot of stoners and this is their guy. I'm not a huge fan personally but he still gets a lot of play.


Of course Pac will always get huge love in LA add KDAY to the mix(a radio station that plays mostly 90s hip hop) and Pac is always in the top 5 as well.

This is far from a personal list BTW, but just saying what I see and hear a lot.

Surprisingly Rozay and Meek don't get a lot of love where I'm at. Females played that wale album but for the most part MMG isn't that huge out here.

Teflon Don got a lot of play when it came out and I'm On One was fukking BIG though.

I hear is actually a pretty cool guy. A friend of mine met him and said for someone as rich and flashy as he is, he keeps it pretty down to earth.

Feel like you forgot YG tho, don't really know where you be staying but around Crenshaw/Mid-City/LBC/South Central and DTLA YG got the streets on lock I'm just saying.. Don't live there but got close homies and connects over there and I can even recall going to a function on Hoover and 52nd where they played YG for like 3 hours straight no BS
