A lot of people can have a good or even great match but when that spotlight is all on you, people are there to see you, that's the real pressure. Now that "Big Match" John is semi-retired someone has to take the mantle. Obviously that wasn't the consensus but anyone who didn't feel Cena was money in money matches is crazy.

Here's some contenders:

Roman Reigns. Pretty much all he wrestles now are "big matches" and they always deliver for me. Logan Paul was a recent example. Give Logan credit.. he's a natural but he was in there with Roman Reigns.

Omega. Fresh off another highly acclaimed match vs. Will Ospreay. He can still get to that level. Matches with Bryan delivered of course but what may hurt Omega is he spends too much time being goofy.

Okada. Match with Jay White was good.. didn't believe it was great but the resume is godly.

Bianca Belair. She had a MOTYC with Sasha Banks and followed up at the next WM with another MOTYC vs. Lynch. She's that good.

Sasha Banks/Mercedes. She's been out of the spotlight until recently. She also has a resume that speaks for itself. She has a chance to show she's still got it vs. Kairi Sane.

WWE. Though I'm going mostly off post-Vince stuff at this point because the quality of the wrestling is much better...
  • Roman Reigns - I'll put him on the list even though I'd leave him off the list if it was just for my personal preference instead of trying to be objective
  • Gunther
  • Cody Rhodes
  • Bianca Belair
  • Seth Rollins
  • Dragon Lee - based entirely on his AAA/ROH history of course
  • Tyler Bate if we want to include NXT/NXT UK
As far as current non-WWE talent goes...

AEW...
  • Omega
  • Lucha Bros/Death Triangle and its associated members in singles action
  • Hangman Page
  • Bryan Danielson
  • Young Bucks - you don't have to like them, just like I don't really like Roman Reigns, but they deliver big in the big matches for the people who do
  • Konosuke Takeshyta
  • FTR
Japan...
  • Omega
  • Ospreay
  • Okada
  • Shingo Takagi
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi
  • Konosuke Takeshyta
  • Go Shiozaki
  • Kaito Kiyojima
  • Katsuhiko Nakajima
  • Kenoh
  • Kento Miyahara
  • Yuki Yoshioka
  • Kazusada Higuchi
  • Tetsuya Endo
ROH/Indies...
  • FTR
  • Briscoes
  • Jay Lethal - ROH era, not his current AEW run
  • Bandido
  • United Empire - Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis - you could add them to Japan too I guess but they haven't had quite as good of a tenure there
  • Dragon Lee
Impact
  • Josh Alexander
  • Jonathan Gresham - though mostly based on his ROH career
  • Mike Bailey
Mexico
  • El Hijo Del Vikingo
  • Bandido
  • Fenix
  • Pentagon Jr
  • Dragon Lee
And for women outside of WWE...

Stardom...
  • Giulia
  • Syuri

Kevin Owens usually delivers in a big match, the only time he fell short was that Mania match with Jericho
