If Roman had to leave at the end of the year due to health or Hollywood reasons, who could fill his spot for 2022?

Some variation of Lashley, Drew, Big E, Seth and throwing a bunch of money at Brock to fill the void is the easy guess as far as what they're immediate go-to moves would be.

Big picture/long term it's in the same ballpark as the "who's gonna main event WM50 ?" thread that was made on here not too long ago - I'm not sure that person is in the company yet, or if they're even in the wrestling business yet period. Baby Steiner seems like he's pushing the right buttons so far but who really knows.

They don't exist.

True. Someone could be used but they haven't built anyone up like that for there to be a suitable replacement. They have guys like Cesaro, KO, and Seth but I doubt any could replace Roman like the way he's booked. Big E too but he's champion on a different show. I think even the three I mentioned are all on Raw. Don't know who's a worthy candidate on SD.

I like KO. But he's not the guy. Neither is Big E. Seth definitely isn't the guy, because if he was we'd know it by now.

I absolutely love what Lashley has been doing recently, but people like him and Brock Lesnar are too old (at least when thinking about who can be that top dog for the next 3 to 5 years).

Possible people could be:

-Drew McIntyre
-Big E
-Riddle
-Xavier? (I think that he's a very talented guy that can do it all)
Montez?
Greyson Waller?
Cameron Grimes?
Omos?
Sammi Zayn?

What do each of these people have going against them that means that they CAN'T get that spot?

Roman has been pushed as a protected guy from day 1 and that never faltered, it's part of what gives him more of a main event aura because he never drops into the upper midcard like Seth etc

They'd probably have to call up Bron Breakker and push him straight to the moon

I was thinking Bron or Gable when they get called up.

Drew, Big E

To a lesser extent Lashley and Seth. Lashleys likable but not that socially engaging for talk shows/media stuff.

Seth doesn't come off as that likable and though he's in great shape he's not yoked out like the other 3, which is important for Vinces very top guys.

Seth could do it. And they could even use the same storyline with a few tweaks.
Just have it be Seth the pseudo cult leader instead of Roman the tribal chief and have a tag team operating as Seth's henchmen.

Lashley, MVP and a rebuilt Hurt Business could do it.

AJ Styles with Omos could step in to that role too.
