After nearly two years after it was first shot on location in Thailand, WHITE TIGER, the martial arts action film starring Don “The Dragon” Wilson, Matt Mullins, Cynthia Rothrock, and the late Joe Lewis (in his final film performance) will finally see the light of day in 2014.
Mullins plays a cop who after his partner is killed, teams up with a mercenary, played by Wilson, to take down his partner’s killers. Rothrock serves as one of the villains and Lewis plays Mullins’ partner. The film co-stars Jawed El-Berni (NINJA: SHADOW OF A TEAR) and Thai TV actress Yui Manochem. RAGING PHOENIX co-star Patrick Kazu Tang serves as the film’s fight choreographer and there will be a throwdown between martial arts legends Wilson and Rothrock.
After some legal woes between producers that have since been resolved, the film will make its debut at the Cannes Film Festival, according to Don “The Dragon” Wilson. Toby Russell and Raimund Huber directed with Karen Kaing serving as the film’s producer.
Look out for WHITE TIGER later this year.
