White people being "immuned" to the cold is actually a myth?

So I saw this post on another forum. Everybody seen these football fans who be in below 0 weather with no shirts on. Or white boys walking around in shorts in the snow. This white guy respondrd in a forum, thats it's not that they are not "cold". It a macho, maschimo thing. They're trying to be tough.

This makes me wonder if these black teens are doing the same these days. Some of them don't wear winter coats. Just walking around in hoodies all day (and don't get me started on crocs in the winter).

You get used to cold weather if you're in it long enough. I was upstate NY for a 6 months, I was walking outside in 0 degree temp in shorts not even thinking about it.

Some Black teens where I'm from don't wear winter coats. I'm not saying every, but alot them are happy with just hoodie. I dont get it but it might be a macho thing.

I know somebody who wears shorts 365 days a year no cap. Rain sleet or snow he has shorts on, and he wears hoodies, never saw him in a winter coat or jacket. Dude is on the spectrum tho.
