it's not just the data, it's literally dumbing down our younger population with an addictive app that they do not allow to operate the same way in their own country.
we been hearing about online addiction for years tho.. not sure why this is any different.. been getting stories about online addiction out of china and south korea for years.. read some news reports of people dying while gaming in web cafes over there.

china did something about online addiction and these apps in their country for the youth though, here the populous will just get dumber than it already is off of this app that does not operate the same way in their country and is highly addictive. all tiktok users admit it is addicting.

just because trump wanted to ban it, doesn't mean we on the left have to come out in full support of that shyt.

it's a totally different app in China. the CCP does NOT want its youth spending time gaming and on social media. if you're over 24/25, you can do as you wish with your life...if you have the time. but under that age, you have restrictions on time spent playing video games and watching/uploading to Douyin.

The best they've done here is have a video telling you you've been scrolling for too long. But the app won't lock you out, you can just ignore the video and keep going....while Bytedance collects your data...for the CCP.

china did something within their countries legal framework, what would you like the U.S to do within it's legal framework?

from my understanding, tiktok algorithm is addictive. it doesn't appear as if china ordered companies to change their algorithm, they limited for certain timeframes.

The biggest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn't exist.

In this case...

The biggest threat to ever exist in America is misguided influence.

Folks rely on the validation of another hence why there's plenty of TikTok and not enough informative platforms. Who would want to see the strings of a puppet, when its not apart of the puppet show?

This shyt goes beyond China, for they already got a leap into the future. We are ten steps ass backwards in the pits of the past because there are no longer free thinkers and leaders, just centipedes and memes.
