WWE and Bill Goldberg are now in talks, reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. There has been talk of him doing next year’s WrestleMania in New Orleans, LA. It appears likely they want him to work a match with Ryback.

Goldberg would be 47, but still trains hard and is in good shape and has been open to the idea of doing one big match, plus, there’s always a potential Hall of Fame offer.

I can understand the legends contract, since he will be in 2k14. That being said, the idea of him stealing minutes from WrestleMania XXX is nuh-uh. Ryback lost legitimacy when he couldn't lift Tensai. All Ryback can do now is bully, critic food, and poop in peoples Gymbags.

Happened to watch a couple Goldberg matches earlier today. I wasn't even a huge fan of his, ever, but all these years later I can watch his matches and recognize that dude as a serious presence. Not a great wrestler or a great promo by any means, but one hell of a presence.

Saying that Ryback is a second-rate Goldberg is too kind. He doesn't have one-tenth of the charisma.

Where is the Ryback that was consoling Vickie after she was fired a few weeks ago by hugging her and saying that everything was going to be okay?

I want to see more of this aspect of Ryback character explored.

Crowd will explode when he comes out.

When has Goldberg not been over?

And his wrestling matches don't really require him to be in tip top shape, he does 3 moves, maybe 4

I don't hate the idea of it, Bill has never let himself fall off physically and even at 47 I don't see him getting exposed to any real degree, especially by Ryback. ... him vs Ryback wouldn't require much beyond power moves and rest holds as an in ring match. their feud makes a bit of sense and could work.

why not, lets pull out as many spots as we can for WM30 :manny:
