bought games.

I want to revisit my plan to have an ultimate fighting game rig that I randomly abandoned, and I want to cop some of the great new and classic fighting games available on PSN. I already have 6 button pad and arcade stick, and the obvious games like SF4 (og), MKVI, Soul Calibur IV, one of the KOF on PSX, SFa1 and some others. I want to beef up that selection and get the best old and new starting with obvious ones like SF2HD and KOFXIII, and SF4:AE.

Now, IF I continue to purchase these games on PSN, will I be able to play them on my VITA or the eventual PS4 from what you all know.

And please, keep this just informative, I don't have patience for a flame war. Feel free to recommend titles too.

PS3 PSN games will not be playable. They require the same architecture as disc-based PS3 games. Classics may or may not be available. We simply don't know yet.

You can play PSone classics on Vita. However, you can't play those PSN games that are built for PS3 on the Vita.

Hope I answered your question :ld:

I would hope that you wouldn't have to purchase it again. If you are using the same account I would think that you would be able to download something that you've already paid for. But companies are all about the dollar so you never know. Also I suggest Marvel vs Capcom 2

You'll need to keep your ps3.

Quite helpful. So in short, the PSone classics will work with my vita going forward of which has a pretty healthy life expectation considering the PS4's vita integration. Good to know. The others however, I gotta keep my PS3. Fair enough. I was hoping that if I bought them on PSN I could use them on PS4 but as we expect now no.

Thanks fellas

I'm not a huge fan of the VS series but realistically my goal is incomplete unless I have that and UMVC3.

Thanks

The answer is NO

You can't play PS3 titles on your Vita (maybe remote play which is playing a ps3 disc in your ps3 then streaming that to the vita)

You can't play PSN-ps3 titles via Vita

You can't bring your PSN purchases with you to PS4

Now if you heard of PS+, whatever sony has planned for PS+ on PS4? Your membership will carry over even if the content you get for the ps3 does not

Any other questions, I'm here all day...

:stopitslime:

Here comes this fakkit again thinking he knows everything as usual

Yoshida has told*Polygon*that it could be possible for PS4's future cloud services to recognise users' PS3 PS Store purchases, if Sony should "choose" to make it so."We could do so if we choose to," he said. "We know who purchased what as a record. But we are working on service plans and we haven't decided."
PS4 may support existing digital purchases through cloud, 'We could do so if we choose to,' says*Sony | Polygon

TS, like I said... We really wont know until E3... be a little more patient
