Which version of Clone Wars was better? (2003 or 2008)

The 2003 Clone Wars was a series of shorts directed by Gendy Tartakovsky.
The 2008 Clone Wars ran for 7 seasons (and had a movie).

The 2008 version introduced Ahsoka, did a good job of humanizing the clones and had some amazing stories for sure.

The 2003 version had the GOAT depiction of General Grievous though.

I haven't rewatched the 2003 series in years, but the 2008 series is pretty much compulsory viewing if you want to understand the current Disney era of Star Wars

I prefer the animation for the 2003 series. But the 2008 series being fleshed out over 7 full seasons while the 2003 series was only 2 mini-seasons makes this an unfair comparison that 2008 series wins easily.

Yeah IMO the 2008 series is a huge reason why the prequel film trilogy is now looked at favorably.
