Which version of Blocking a user is better?

I think there are pros and cons to both versions like some folks get an ego boost from having a mf blocked but they're still hanging on your every word as if you can see them.

The more potent version of block in my opinion is the one on X/IG where there is an immediate disconnect of both parties and no one can see each others posts. however trolls work around and make burner pages.
