We celebrate Lord Jesus's resurrection vs the Romans at the time celebrating a pagan holiday.

No it doesn't. It's paganism.. The bible discusses Passover
easter isn’t a christian holiday, breh…the word easter only appears once in scripture and it’s an english translation of the word pascha which means passover…

Anyone who understands Passover should see the connection between it and Christ's resurrection (Easter). The lamb's blood put on the doors of Hebrew homes in Egypt, to protect them from God's wrath, has been replaced with the shed blood of the messiah, Jesus. Hence the common phrase, "Worthy is the lamb that was slain..." sung in numerous Christian songs.
Now the early Roman Catholic Church commonly gentrified foreign/pagan religious festivals and holidays, replacing the meaning with Christisn significance.. Hence the name Easter, which was a Pagan Spring fertility holiday/ritual (Eggs, Flowers, Bunnies all represent fertility).
So what does it have to do with Easter eggs and shyt?
pagan fertility goddess worship, hence the eggs…rabbits fukk a lot so they became the de-facto mascot…
