I fw Cena but I never understood how mfs were okay cosplaying a wanksta :mjlol:

Early to mid 2000s was free range for white people to mimick black culture in some half ironic half serious way at a time when it was its most ripe to be mocked with the 50 Cent gangsta era (remember how many celebs was wearing grillz for fun) to the point where it was seen as normal (and people only woke round iggy/macklemore time and by then it was too late)

That and initally Cena wannabe gimmick was meant to be played for jokes as a comedy heel until it naturally got over with the crowd cause he was basically a white version of the most popular rapper at that time and its rare for wrestling to be in line with whats popular at the exact moment
