Every time is watch those two movies, I always mentally put myself in a "what the fukk would I do" point of view. World War Z is so terrifying because of how quickly motherfukkers turn and it just gets worse every time someone gets bit. The Hills Have Eyes is scary too because you see your whole family getting picked off one by one. If I had to choose I think I'd be more terrified in a WWZ situation because I live in NYC and every time I watch I just think of how crazy it would be if that shyt actually went down.

Do you think you'd survive either situation?

A part of me has been slightly desensitized to Zombies so the HHE scenario sounds scarier at the moment. Also in the HHE scenario I'm already captured and at the whims of some creepy mutant people in an unknown territory whereas in the Zombie scenario, I can at least hide out in my neighborhood and try to survive on my own awhile. I can't remember if the zombies in WWZ were fast or not but that'd play a part in which scenario I'd choose also. I think imma rewatch that on Netflix in a minute. :patrice:

WWZ. In the Hills Have Eyes, I know that's not all of society is overrun and it's not zombies, just a family of cannibals and while that sucks, there's some type of hope. There is damn near no hope in that WWZ scenario; it's going down and there are only so many places to hide or run to

Right. It's literally like watching a virus in action.....like you're watching millions of infected cells attack healthy cells and there;s really no where to escape. In HHE you may be able to run/escape far enough to run into someone who isn't a mutant and can help or rescue you. In WWZ you never know when you turn a corner you could easily run into a pack of zombies. And the WWZ zombies were just on some other shyt....they didn't care whether they were destroyed or not....they would "die" just trying to get at you in any way possible. I've watched WWZ about 6 times and I always wonder if it'd be better to off myself rather than go through all that bullshyt just to end up bitten and be apart of the problem.

As soon as I finish watching Death Wish for the movie club, I'm checking out that unrated cut of WWZ.

But that's the thing about zombie flicks, there is no hope. I mean no matter what you do, there is nowhere to go because it gets everyone and goes everywhere

TBH I didn't really notice anything different in the unrated version, but maybe I wasn't paying attention
