We lost the IBF Championship because of straight stupidity, ego, and vendetta


First, we were offered 200k to fight Shafikov (which Bey should've took...it was a career high purse offered from TMT) and Bey turned it down. Im assuming that pissed Mayweather off, because then the fight was scheduled to go to purse bid since Bey turned down the purse offered by his OWN promotional company, and because of it...Mayweather Promotions didn't bid on the purse bid Top Rank was the only ones to bid and won with a measley 78k bid


That meant Bey would have to defend his belt in China on a TR PPV undercard against Shafikov for only $58,500


He signed the contract and then backed out (which was probably bc he realized he was about to get robbed for only 58.5k ) and vacated his title.


Now #BeyBeyKids is back, and we might not even get air time on the TV portion of the telecast
