Which Do You Prefer: DeNiro or Al Pacino ?

Two of the greatest in their prime. Although I'm a huge fan of DeNiro's classic work I still have to give it to Pacino. His work in films like Dog Day Afternoon and Godfather 1/2 to Serpico and Glengarry Glenross is just phenomenal.

DeNiro in Taxi Driver though.

Pachino is overrated.

Pacino has the better movies (arguably, anyway), but De Niro is the better actor.

Actually, the screenplay and Lemmon are the highlights but outside of them Pacino definitely shines in this role. In my opinion.

It's wild that the Baldwin role wasn't in the play. Mamet just decided to come up with another classic character while adapting the play to film.
