So I am watching Good Will Hunting and I am thinking Damn this is probably my favorite Robin Williams role yet it's serious...

So which comedian/comedic actor had the best serious roles? By the way im talking straight drama not romantic comedy or dark comedies ....

Lots of good options there.

I always say comedians make some of the best actors. To be a good comedian, you inherently have to be a good actor. Being good at standup and making people laugh is some of the most difficult acting there is.
