Like, which albums did you think were just aaight first time through but the second time you're :wow:

Don't have a specific one in mind but this has happened to me with every single spitta album. Even stoned immaculate first time through I was lukewarm on it but the second listen got me

Get Rich or Die Tryin. The lyrics were so damn generic and simple that I actually didn't even like the album. Then somehow it started sounding better and better

It usually takes me 4 listens to properly judge an album. Also preferably during different times of the day and different moods for all 4.

Resonable Doubt..I was young around that time period...People were already calling it a classic and I was just like :childplease:

Until I watched that Ultimate Album special on VH1..and I saw Hov decode a lot of the songs and lyrics so it left me like :ohhh:..so then I relistened to the album again with new ears and I realized it was Hov's classic..

Juan Roberto's bald spot
Watch The Throne is actually a pretty nice album when judged objectively, Otis encompasses all the rhetoric surrounding Nas' recent albums and his widely praised ascetic take on hip-hop....and yes, Take Care was a good at first listen and is a great inclusion in the pantheon of great hiphop albums.

Definitely. Compared to mixtape Fif it was too aggressive.

Hell Hath No Fury on first listen was a complete let down. But after some more play it turned into a classic...
