Where this "we are the only race who does x" thing come from?

It seems like some of y'all romanticize intra-relations with other races/ethnic groups.

I hear things like "black people are the only race where women complain about their men being abusive" where machismo is a thing.

Or "black people (ADOS specifically) are the only group that don't value education" when plenty of white people are uneducated and glorify lack of education.

Or "black people are the only race with a crab-in-a-barrel mentality" when some Asian ethnicities are notorious for backstabbing others to get themselves and their families ahead.

And my personal favorite "black people are the only race that kill each other in ridiculous numbers" where Mexico, Venezuela, and Honduras are three countries with relatively small black populations that have record breaking murder rates.

It feels like some people on the Coli and other sites have so little faith in black people that the put other races in a pedestal when it comes being orderly. Black people are people. We are capable of being shytty human beings and we are capable of being totally selfless and caring human beings. Just like everybody else

I hear this phrase a lot, usually by people who dont realize how much the system is targeted against black people. They view black Americans position in society and believe CAC lies about capitalism where you are the reason why you are poor.

So to they look at other races and wonder how they can come over and prosper and instead of noticing none of those other racial groups have not had the same legal oppression as black people in this country; they also link with friends and family NOT just because they are the same race.

When people say this about other factors it's just because they have low self esteem about being black. 7nderstamdable but stupid as hell

I've heard this said in real life by black people plenty of times. Usually middle class black people
