Where are our African flicks? There's so much that can be done. I'm talking before colonialism and slavery.

It is truly sad we don't have big budget movies taking place in those western sudanic empires in the medieval era. I think of it as a blessing though. We have a glorious untapped potential movies for us just waiting. Imagine a movie about Sonni Ali or sundiata kieta or the butt hurt caused by a move about the moors.

one thing i would like to see is the black woman in martial arts. I think that is something that needs to be establish once again. I cant think of anyone outside of the sister who played Cleopatra Jones (i might be slipping), I really would like to see some strong films. I seen something recently Called Oya
