Don't misunderstand me. I'm not avoiding her. Calling out sick in the corporate world (when you're really not sick), means that you're gonna take a day off for yourself. Not as a damn couple. You already spend time as a couple every damn day. Every now and then you need time for yourself. If you can't understand that then this thread.

The only good thing about working at night.

Going to clubs, parties, or anywhere at night by myself or with whoever is the best pleasure ever.
Can't even account for how many off nights I had to myiberty with my girls knowledge.


If we didn't have a kid or the kid was sleeping over somebody else house for a night, I wouldn't mind her company. I usually enjoy nights out with my girl.

My wife is a beast at pulling this move breh. Like you said I'm not avoiding her at all. I spend plenty of time with her and I enjoy it but we all need a sanity day.

She did it to me last year like right when Madden dropped. I had an extra vacation day that I was going to lose if I didn't use it so I took it off. Plan was to go HAM on madden, watch some movies I knew she had no interest in, and honestly just take a long ass nap when that was over. At some point it clicked with her that I was going to be at the crib by myself so she called in sick.

Long story short the day did not go as planned at all. I got halfway through one game of madden with the computer and turned it off b/c I was feeling guilty . We ended up watching like 2 romantic comedies . On top of that I couldn't even get my nap in because she wanted to take the dogs to the park and teach them tricks.

I love my wife but cotdamn she sh*tted on my day off . Since then we've started to institute the sanity days though.

Yo breh I swear I wish I could dap you twice I called out from work and didnt tell my girl she was fukking tight with me the entire weekend I tell her all the time you dont want me to be up under you 24/7 we going to start hating each other we need to give each other some space once in a while so we can miss each other a little it keeps the relationship fresh

The problem is when she aint with you she is thinking you fukking everything under the sun and ladies thats not the case all of the time she knows I am a game head I told her I just really wanted to visit some of the landmarks in Los Santos
