When you take into account most comic book films from the 90's to now, we can agree..

Not really, I'm talking about films that already had source material to work with, i.e comics and graphic novels


also the tim burton batman films were decent...the ones that came out after, not so much. so technology isnt a huge factor.

Even if you want to keep in just to films based on other material the majority of them suck. It all comes down to the screenwriters, directors, and actors. It's that way with every film.

Superman Returns...Howard the Duck. See the real problem is these studios are ran by an bunch of old fukks who are flabby and sick. A bunch of artsy mothafukkas who think they are good at storytelling and dismiss Comics/Manga/Videogames as legit media in the literary world. So they put their little spins on the source material and fukk it to high heaven. The Last Airbender is a good example of Hollywood fukkery. If you have something you like Hollywood will fukk it up repeatedly until they get it SEMI right. Marvel having their own studio did wonders for them! Its the nature of the beast in Hollywood. They want to make movies that are PG-13 and make the most money. Rated R Wolverine movie...nope...we get Wolverine:Origins....But leave it to the secret "ratings board" to fukk up a movie. They will view a movie and tell the directors if they object to certain material....."Concerned Parents"...All Bullshyt.

they want to sell toys rather than tell a good story, i think the directors have the best of intentions but they get fukked over by whatever board there is when they say some sh1t like "Were thinking Elektra....wait for it...STARING KATY PERRY! "
