Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water

per the NBA rule book

All the players who are seated on the bench must remain in that immediate vicinity. If the rule is violated, the League Office must be notified and each guilty individual is subject to a suspension of a minimum of one game and fine up to $50,000.

I dont think 3 ft inside the 3 point line is in the immediate vicinity of the bench, suspend him :yeshrug:

Its never been as bad as it is for LeBron. Pretend it was this bad for MJ, or Shaq, or Kobe if you want, but it wasn't.

You could argue that maybe if MJ lost the media would make the kind of crazy excuses they do for LeBron for him too but...he never lost :manny:
This is both myopic and melodramatic.

There is so much more to how the game is watched and reported now than there was even 10 years ago. Within minutes of every play you have thousands of reporters online poring over every instance from multiple angles. In a tight game where the margins are thin, this becomes more pronounced.

You've taken all the hyper-social noise and commentary, and given it more meaning than it actually deserves.

There's never been media like this before. Skip Bayless and Nick Wright would be working the women's basketball beat in Wisconsin in Jordan's day.

Steve Javie said LeBron was 4 ft. ahead of the restricted circle, he said his left foot was down, and he said LeBron is allowed to firm up to take the contact. He believed it was an offensive foul. In real time it absolutely looked like a charge.

The point is it's a debatable, quick judgement call, it's not an out of bounds play. At that point in the game, in an NBA Finals, it's a huge play to overturn when there is reasonable doubt. Javie is head of refereeing and analyst, out of the 2 officials one thought it was a charge, that tells you how tough of a call it is. This shyt just doesn't happen. I'm pretty sure the only review that can take place is to determine if the defender is in the restricted circle or not, LeBron read that play and jumped well ahead of that circle.
