When someone is being sneaky what do you do?

Say you catch a person in a lie? You know they are cheating or you know something they think you don't know. Whatever the case maybe. Do you call them out? Get revenge? Or use this knowledge against them?

I normally call a person out but I'm thinking I shouldn't do that anymore .
