I might be reaching with this, but then again I might not be. She's signed to Interscope, as is Kendrick Lamar. Usually with a pending album, the buzz pushed for by the label increases ten-fold in the month and some weeks leading up till the release date. Now Kedrick already had some buzz due to his own talent and Section 80. Then The Recipe drops featuring the notorious D.R.E.. Then we got Swimming Pools, Cartoons & Cereal ft Gunplay, then Westside Right on Time ft Jeezy.
So he's got a buzz, but it's still not that Interscope buzz we're used to seeing. So is it possible Interscope called in the big guns in the form of Lady Gaga? She's an artist, but make no mistake about it she's also an employee. She's huge both in the States, and the world, encroaching on Madonna levels of fame, and I find it hard to believe that her becoming a fan of Kendrick Lamar was simply coincedental. I'm under the impression that her shouting him out on Twitter, watching him perform at Coachella was a case of her doing her job. Funny how the album got pushed back and she ends up on the album.
