Coming out the same time Winds of Winter is released
It's probably not in development, they just did Demon's Souls, working on Elden Ring, and then after that there's a 50/50 chance between Bloodbourne 2 and Dark Souls 4, and DS4 would make them more money because it's not an exclusive
Probably wouldn't make that much more, titles will always sell better on console. And these types of games don't fit what the green side plays so your majority is coming from Playstation by default. Add Souls being a niche series to begin with and your expectations are modest.
PS5 Demon's is different tho being one of the few games made for PS5 at launch, so just off that it should end up the best selling Souls game in the US tbh.
But yeah, Bloodbourne 1 needs a 60fps patch before we can start thinking about a 2.
bloodborne came out about a year and half after the ps4 came out. if they are going by the same schedule, bb2 could be an early-to-mid 2022 gameHow you make a classic like that and never make a sequel?

Bloodborne made a lot of money thoSony owns the bloodborne IP just like demon souls. Why would From make bloodborne 2 when they can make more money, have total control and own all merchandising of their own original IP's. Sekiro exceeded all sales expectations, including Activision's. Sony should have bought From Software when they had the chance.
Thats money thats split with sony. Dark Souls made more money and From owns it. People were asking them for years to remaster demon souls and they kept saying we have no control over that IP, Sony owns it. They didn't sound very positive about the situation either.Bloodborne made a lot of money tho

I just can't see them going back to bloodborne when they have to split profits and they don't need the financial backing to cover any risks after how sekiro performed and the hype around Elden Ring.
