When Did Online Wrestling Fans Start Calling Good Matches, Bangers?

Over the last month or so I've seen people on social media and other message boards calling good matches, "bangers," at first I thought it was nothing but now it's getting out of hand. It's gotten to the point where I've heard Ryan Satin say it on his podcast and Kevin Kelly say it on commentary.

I'm only used to hearing banger when it comes to dope Hip-Hop, Reggae or R&B tracks so it's jarring to me when it's used in the context of wrestling rather than black music. Am I the only noticing this?
