When black people see a white person there's no confusion but when they see another person of color?

Are these people not black? If you go for the cop out answer and say "mix". If you take a glass of water and "mix" some soda in it, is it pure water? Who made up "mixed people". Was it the people of color, or the ones who beating down people of color wherever they go and leaving evidence to prove it? Do white people automatically know a person of color when they see one or do they go through the same process we do and ask "what are you?"

Think about it.
