So based on company performance and employee performance people in my team get a yearly bonus at the last day of January.
It's a good amount, almost 10k after taxes.
Thing is though that I've seen a posting of another job and I would love to apply for that.
It's more money, yes more work but more money. And I got connects in that company at good ranking positions that can help push my resume out.
But my yearly bonus though..... that's my money!!
There's so many things, my job right now is super stable. And they'd be lost without me and they know it.
But that much of an increase in salary is a big deal, also i'll be doing more travelling which I really miss doing.
But how do I leave 10k that's mine on the table, and just leave it just like that??
One thing that I really hate about my current job is we do things called OKRs, Objective Key Results.
"Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) provide a framework for businesses to execute and achieve their desired strategies through simple, collaborative goal setting. OKRs have helped many organizations, including Google, successfully establish priorities, create internal alignment, increase accountability and reach their objectives."
We gotta do ORKs every year and check them every quarter to see if we are working towards our goals.
I hate OKRs so much!!!
What would you do?
