What's your gaming setup look like?

Just redid the a/v setup in the living room, new Denon AVR, Sony 85" X900H, and Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 setup. I mostly play racing games, Forza Motorsport 7, Assetto Corsa, Forza 6, Forza Horizon 4, Project Cars 2.0 and few others. Playseat with Logitech G29 wheel, pedals, and 6-speed manual shifter, pc off to the side. I know some of yall cats got multi-monitor setups like Bruce Wayne..... add on.

I love the picture quality but I’m still waiting for that firmware update.

I love it, I bought a Samsung Q70T, had it a few days, only edge-lit, no local dimming, and wasn't happy with the picture. Read some reviews, the Sony X900H kept coming up as comparable to the Sammy Q80T and LG OLED units, about $800 less for the largest screen I could get plus FALD. Colors are spot on without needing much settings change, I got no complaints. I read about VRR possibility, hopefully a firmware update like you mentioned.

Right! I paid $2,200 back in 2016 for my Samsung KS8000 65", was one of their higher tier models. This Sony was only $2,500.

PreSonus Eris E3.5 3.5 inch Powered Studio Monitors, ( I have them more for Dj Mixing but they are such great speaker for clarity though.
Sharp Aquos LC-60LE650U (I've mentioned many times wifey fights me over getting a new television, wild shyt brehs. Why that line, I have no idea but I don't want the smoke on that other side.

Persona is a franchise that I've always loved but Joker from Persona 5, not 2 is the flyest character Atlus has ever created.

Grim Fandango was the first PC game that wasn't shareware that I ever beat. Manny Calavera is one of my favorite characters ever. Classic game. I paid more for this to get made than I did the game back in the day.

If this game never popped off back in the day, who knows what the fukk we'd be doing. Looks cool and to pay homage in a sense.

Coach is Old Faithful. Comfy as hell over 10 years later.

Consoles don't look right to me standing up. Yes, when it was a WIP, I chronicled it. Basically, I let my wife go through the house, redoing everything, I waited until everyone else went, didn't say anything once about prices so that when it was my turn, she couldn't say shyt. Kids (plural) rooms, new siding, new deck, new washer and dryer, new living room and dining room set and all the other shyt she gets. Do whatever you want and hell, I'll wait. It's not even a case of losing a battle to win the war. Other stuff that are needs can come before my wants. It was just, when it was my time, just let me cook and I'll tell you when I'm done.

But this weekend I decided I will turn a section of my basement into a 90s gaming center

Already ordered a Sega Genesis and PS1 along with Madden 93 and Madden 98

Will wait until Black Friday to order a gaming desk, gaming chair and 4k gaming monitor

My bday is in december so will ask my girl for a sound system to compliment my new gaming setup

I'll prob get a Nintendo & Super Nintendo sometime in early 2024 to make the cypher complete
