Scream (1996) got a bit of everything for me as a horrorhead. The comedic plays on tropes, references to fellow classics, giallo homages, and then still manages to feel sinister all at the same time. Excellent chemistry within the cast. It’s so twisted, yet stays on replay.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s films set in the San Fernando Valley, and more specifically: Boogie Nights & Punch-Drunk Love. Both have a charm to them that keep me at ease. Boogie Nights is extravagant (until it isn’t) and damn near feels like a Scorsese film. There’s actually substance within Sandler’s man-child antics in PDL unlike his Happy Madison works and the film is unapologetically weird. It’s not the ordinary romance.

Chef (2014) and Ratatouille involve cooking and going with your passion no matter what obstacle stands in the way. They're feel good stories that speak to me. Majority of Pixar’s films boost my spirit but this one stands out to me the most.

The Fifth Element. Kind of funny because I was in this real broke stretch all I had was no cable, a shytty TV, and 3 VHS tapes (:flabbynsick:), I watched that shyt dozens of times. But, if it comes on I can still sit down and watch it again.
