I put in my weight and age and I'm burning calories like a muthafukka and I'm not even trying

shyt has to be bullshyt, burning 100 cal on a treadmill is 10x harder then a elliptical machine

I guess depends on how hard you're going on both. I know that I burn about 75-100 more calories on a treadmill than an elliptical doing 2 miles. I try to do between level 8-10 for the easy cycles and about 15 to kick it up a notch on a 25 level machine. I only fukk with the ellipticals cause I've my fukked up foot and knee though.

it uses a pretty shytty formula based on age/weight

you shouldnt count workout calories

but rather use an activity factor(1.2-1.4) to determine how many cals you need.

IE BMR is easy to calculate, 1.2 x BMR = your maintenance...you subtract 500 and get the amount needed to cut weight.

you shouldnt use 1.4 activity unless you work a physical job(hard labor) and 1.3 only if you are in the gym 4x week and/or bulking

1.2 for cutting period.
