Serialized TV makes better storied content these days.
All I can think of now is biographies or essentially short stories that can't be put into TV shows. But even TV miniseries do a better job at telling detailed stories.
Movie plots are all-too generic and cliche.
Action movies don't cut it anymore since its just chocked full of unrealistic CGI and lacks surprises.
Romantic comedies may have a lane still.
The last real MOVIE I think that deserved being made into a film was probably...Mad Max? It was a throwback to the 90s "movie" experience. Maybe "Knight of Cups" as well?
