In 2003, he got pretty deplorable.
- He started off the year by, for some reason, going after Hulk Hogan and wanting to kill Hulkamania. It was all about the trials and things that took place 20 years before, but Vince must have forgot that HE HIRED HOGAN just the previous year. This culminated in a contract signing for a match at Mania where Vince assaulted Hogan with a chair and then stabbed him with a pen. After losing his match with Hogan, Vince fired him anyway.
- He then, for some reason, went after Zach Gowen next, making numerous references and jokes about Zach's battle with cancer that caused him to lose his leg.
- Then, he decided he did not want Kurt Angle as champion anymore and decided to screw him out the title making Kurt compete despite the fact that his sister had just died.
- Then, he went after his daughter, Stephanie. Over the weeks leading to his match, he made out with Sable infront of Steph and Linda, admitted that he sent Stephanie to clients for sexual favors, and then choked her out in an I Quit Match. Afterwards, he potato'd his wife and made out with Sable again.
- He decided that he didn't want The Undertaker as champion either and started finding ways to screw him out of the title. In the events leading up to their match (see video posted by @LordEssdot), Vince talked about having terrorists blow up Taker's home, having his wife raped by a motorcycle gang, and having his kids kidnapped. At the PPV, he buried The Undertaker and when Taker returned, he was the Dead Man again.
- And to top the year off, he kicked Ernest Miller in the nuts after having a dance off.
After that, he spent 2004 and 2005 making sparse appearances, and I was glad too, because I was tired of seeing him on TV.
