What's the Latest Season of The Simpsons You Can Still Watch?

I’ve been doing a Simpsons rewatch for the past few weeks, and can’t get past 9. I guess I stopped watching them, because I don’t remember anything else. The whole point is nostalgia. I get to 9, then randomly watch old episodes mostly from seasons 3, 4, and 5.

The way I see it:

- Season 9 the show starts falling off but is still great overall w/some classic eps

- Season 13 is where the fall off really becomes really noticeable and the start having legit bad episodes

-Season 15 it becomes unwatchable

Funny how I was watching The Simpsons episode where Homer, Moe, Apu, and Skinner where Volunteer firemen because Bart and Millhouse took a Napien induced Homer out to cause havoc during the night.

My favorite seasons of The Simpsons

Season 11:

FAVORITE Episode: Missionary: Impossible

Homer was chased by the PBS Characters because he had lied about paying that pledge. I loved how they took a jab at Family Guy during the end of that episode when they had the Fox Pledge drive.



Season 12:

Favorite episode: Weekend At Burnsie's

When Homer was smoking weed and singing Smoke On The Water



Honorable Mention: Poppa's Got A Brand New Badge

The Sopranos parody was funny to me

every season post classical has had its gem of episodes

they usually have at least 2 decent episodes.

my stannery aside, most post classical seasons aren't terrible just unremarkable

To be fair. Every season still has maybe 3 or 4 really solid episodes.

But after season 10 is where it drops from great to good and 15-20 is decent beyond that it is pretty bland.
