This reminds me of me playing ball. I wanted to be in the NBA. For numerous reasons. I had the height but didn't have the coordination, ability for the position I would have to play, and I wasn't all state, all city, all anything. But I told everyone who would listen, I want to play in the NBA. Sometimes, we got to get realistic. I feel a lot of sistas have been effected so badly from white supremacy, we put unrealistic expectations on others trying to hide our own demons. Every sista starts to think she's entitled to Marcus Graham because she dated a nikka like him but other course he didn't commit and was never planning on it either. I think this is a bigger issue than we led on. Look at Princess Tiana, she was talking that shyt to make you think it's normal for men to make 100k and more with no question. Only 8% of Americans individuals make over 100k a year then use Black men in that reference.
This also reminds me of when I was in middle school, we all said how much we bench press. One dude said 385, a bigger kid said 408 lol, I was skinny so I said 200. We all got into the weight room that next year...
I was benching like the 65 pounds. They we starting at 85 pounds. We were all weak as shyt. I am just saying breh, I am just saying. I know I got lofty goals and plans to achieve what I plan on achieving. Just achieving what I have was hard as it was. I make more money than the average American family by myself. I take trips aboard and I save and invest as well. But it wasn't easy. This was hard work. I think maybe we need to be more aware of that. Especially our sistas. I live in DC. Money is here but opportunity while plentiful compared to Southern states is still hard to get and it's not easy at all. Even the nikkas banking ain't doing perfect and best believe that got mad options. Girlfriends bad as fukk and they ain't planning on wifing em either. shyt, one chick on LSA said some shyt like her best friend divorce her husband because she was making 250k and hanging with millionaires and he was making 80k and that wasn't enough and she felt he was holding her back. Fast forward five years, she is still single and no millionaire came close to marrying her stupid selfish ass.
