I have over 3 HD that I want to copy the contents of. I want to be able to copy them all to one HD, is there a machine or device that could help me do this. Seems like my only option is to hook them both up to the comp and drag and drop.

It's all about the bottleneck of the slowest drive in the chain. Most consumer USB 3.1 external drives max out at 130mbps. If you're looking for speed, cop a couple external SSDs like the Sandisk SSD Extreme Pro 2's. You can find 1TBs and 2TBs online for anywhere between $150-275. As long as you have a USB 3.2 Type 2 port on your computer, you can transfer 100GB in a couple minutes with those easy. Even with a 3.1 port, you can do that in 10 minutes or less.
