So what if it's easy for you to turn down sex from a past or current partner but you will "risk it all" to have sex with someone newLet’s use clubbing for an example. You have some people who, when they go out, they going all out. Spending a lot of money, getting wasted, being wild. But they don’t have to go out every night or weekend. But when they do, they have to turn all the way up or it ain’t fun. If they could go out everyday they probably would, but they are able to be responsible enough to control those urges.
Then you have people, who have to go out every single day. They gotta do something. Even if it ain’t popping like that, that’s better then just being at the house. They will do whatever to satisfy that craving. To the point where it may effect their jobs or relationships. The first group of people have high party drive. The second group of people are addicted.

The thing is I've had sex with 3 different ppl in a 24 hour period twice in my lifeThat’s not a sex addiction
They’re not feeling the past/current partner anymore
That can also be the coodige effect
Coolidge effect is a biological phenomenon seen in animals, whereby males exhibit renewed sexual interest whenever a new female is introduced to have sex with, even after cessation of sex with prior but still available sexual partners.[1][2][3][4] To a lesser extent, the effect is also seen among females with regard to their mates.
