But you can read the Google doc they put out. It sounds pretty fukked up.
From what I understand, they weren't paying the OG content creators and producers for the channel like Obscurus Lupa, Phealos, etc and cutting off various ways they could make money while generally being unbearable and shady as fukk. The only people getting paid were the people who worked directly in the offices in Chicago while the CCs were paid in "Exposure", "Free Trips", and basically shyt you'd give an intern who's only in it for experience.
Since Ad revenue for Youtube at the time was shytty and Lupa (who put out the original story that started this) was limited on how many Midrolls (ads in the middle of the video) she could do, she went to Patron & Kickstarter and Doug/Mike (CEO of CA)/Rob were giving her all kinds of shyt for it. They let her go after her questioning them one too many times after they allow another Content Creator to post his Patron on the site while still forbidding her and others to do so.

Not to mention they withheld Holly Brown's severance pay unless she signed an agreement that she wouldn't go to another production company. 
TGWTG could've been a powerhouse, but they basically let a$$holes and fukk ups run it and now this has happened. CA's down to 1 Million subscribers and has dropped like 24,000 in the last couple days. I was going to go unsubscribe, but I guess I already did awhile back.

I’m wondering this myself. I tried to figure it out but everybody complaining sounds so bytch made. I can’t deal with too much whining. I’m just guessing some people who got cut off the channel is all bitter cause they couldn’t make it on their own and have to get a real job. Why not just turn off the comments and keep releasing videos?
