That's how I wanted my dreads to look back when I had them. It seems like that style is harder to grow out than regular looking dreads

90% of the sectors in this country. People (black included as you can see) look down on freeform locs for a variety of dumb@ss reasons. It's no different than walking into a corporate interview with a t-shirt and jeans. What does the way you dress have to do with your qualifications nothing. But dems the rules.
I have locs btw. I keep them neat.

I was thinking about doing em but said nah. Your best bet if you don't want to look really rough in the beginning is to get them salon done for about 3-4 months in when they start to lock, then just never get em done again
