Arguably Drake's best project, certainly his best album to date. What's the Coli consensus nearly 5 years after its release?
Imo it was inches away from being a classic but suffered a bit from too much r&b elements and one too many club/radio songs. The atmosphere of this album was perfect and was peak introspective Drake, probably the last time we've heard him (or his camping friends
) float on a high lyrical level. One also has to attest to the fact that 5 years later the album does not sounded dated at all besides some of the T-Minus drums. Maybe if he added Club Paradise and Dreams Money Can Buy somewhere it would have been a certified classic but I don't think Drake will ever make something as good as this again. I remember the first thread I made on
was the leak thread for this album
Being that it's the Booth and this a Drake thread I doubt it'll mostly be non-biased and objective viewpoints but personally I give it 4.5 mics
