I keep seeing his shyt all over. Dude wasn't wack, but he wasn't any all time great either. Seems like a certain group is trying to hype this cat to legendary status. Is it me? Because I just don't hear it.

I'll never forget when he won that Blaze battle back in 2000. That was hype and that made me a fan of his. Think copywrite before he fell off or cage before he went all emo.

He rocked with rhymesayers entertainment heavy and that whole mid to late 00s style of underground hiphop.

Rest in peace.

Man the first clip you posted reminds me of how exciting 2000 was in terms of hiphop.

Still even though it got poppy that was when there was a clear division between mainstream and underground. But that was before rhymesayers, anticon, def jux became big and the whole "nerd rap" thing became something that had more or less of a following with all of it's pretentious fans.

Still i'd take that over now anydays. Atleast there was a focus on lyrics. And eyedea was actaully freestyling off the top no writtens or reading off of a blackberry like fake...oh i mean drake.

How many rappers is doing that now?
