Avast and Spybot at the same time :scust:

Blue Screens are a hardware and software related too

I use Avast and Malwarebytes
I Def think it was just a defective laptop

It was a Samsung touch screen
I got the blue screen error twice
Then had to soder my charging port
Then the keyboard malfunctioned and only certain keys work

All that has been said here so far.

Also, get Kazaa so you can protect your dvd drive.

Last time I clean installed Windows, reddit posts generally recommended:

Windows Defender
Malwarebytes
TinyWall (programs can't connect online unless you allow em)

With uBlock, Privacy Badger, HTTPS Anywhere addons.

Probably the most worry free I've ever browsed the net :manny:

If you really want to be safe online, get the NoScript add on for FireFox. It takes some getting used to, but it blocks like everything that has the potential to be a virus. You can walk into any website with confidence.
