Whats the best program to RIP DVDS (Mac)

My girl needs me to rip some dvds for her to throw on the iPad.

Ive been on google and cnet and downloaded a couple, both suck that had high reviews..

So whats the best option?

You can use the DVD as a source for Handbrake directly

isn't it easier just to hit the torrents and download the mp4 so you u dont have to convert the files once u rip?

It depends on how he sees thing...of course it's easier to do that or he could be one of those cautious types that is paranoid over getting caught downloading. I could DL certain things but I'm encoding the Batman Vol 3 set right now..I just wanted it all on my phone and encoded my way in legit quality..plus I like to practice and use other methods of encoding.

That was my first thought.... I only use pirate bay though and couldn't find the movies she wanted on there already in mp4 format
