What's Sup With All These Horrible "In-Ring Interview Show" Segments?

I saw a commercial for Smackdown with it promoting another MizTv segment and I immediately made the face, seriously what's sup with all these horrible in-ring interview shows these past couple of years? What happened to the day of good interview shows, remember: Piper's Pit, HBK's Heartbreak Hotel, Brutus' Barber Shop, The Brother Love Show, Paul Bearer's Funeral Parlor and etc... they were all


What type of garbage we had lately: Carlito's Cabana MizTvKaren's Angle The Abraham Washington ShowChristian's Peep ShowJericho's Highlight Reel... only good episode was when he called HBK on his bullshyt and called him cock-eyed then threw him in his Jerichotron otherwise


Is it that hard to get a good on-air personality to do an interview segment to further the storylines along?

I always thought ALL of them were wack.....even the ones from the 80s/90s

Why would a regular competitor have a regular in-ring segment where they interview other competitors (some of whom they're actually feuding with), complete with ring decoration?

Even by pro wrestling standards, that shyt seems corny

Although....the Heartbreak Hotel ring setup looked kinda nice

its another one of those things that make me feel like wrestling nowadays is MUCH better when they're in worked shoot mode.

I wish they'd do the interview on the platform with the crowd in the background like from back in the day. I think it makes it feel even more special once you see a wrestler in the actual ring. Back in the day, when they talked, most of the time they weren't in the ring waiting to brawl with someone.
