I keep waking up and seeing these gas prices dropping . I thought they were gonna be up to $4.00 by now. We sitting at $3.08 in my city .

Gas really shouldn't cost much more than $1.80 - $2/gal.

our government subsidizes gas corporations to keep the price artificially low (ie they use tax payer money and pay it out to gas companies to stimulate affordable prices. hence people are inadvertently paying gas prices through taxation even when they arent buying any gas)
