As the founder and president of #FelixFederation I feel obligated to speak on it.
The kid's still growing/developing, needs to clean up a few things. But the talent is there, and his potential is through the roof. He really could be the next Trinidad. I know it sounds cliche, but it's the truth.
He's most likely gonna be champ even if he never lives up to his potential. Especially at 135, since Lightweight is not a great division. He can dominate there once he becomes more seasoned (if he can make weight and wants to stay there). Can he win titles at the higher weights though? Every great PR fighter has been champ in at least 3 divisions. Can he? Possibly. Definitely 135. Most likely 140 too. 147? We'll see how he grows in the future (not anytime soon though).
Still unknown because he hasn't finished developing. And I don't like to make bold predictions. I though Juan Manuel Lopez would be a huge star. I thought Thomas Dulorme would be alot better than he's been. Granted, Verdejo looks alot more skilled than those guys But you just never know. Gun to my head, I say he's at least a champ at 135 and 140. I don't know if he'll be lineal champ because the political landscape in boxing might interfere with that, plus he's kinda on the wrong side of the fence in the promotional war. But he'll still be champ. And a very good one IMO.

hopefully it doesn't become a problem but his ceiling is pretty high the skills are there and his body frame looks like it could fill out 147-154 depending on how his power looks like as he goes up.
And he's been cosigned by the Prince of Ukraine so you know he real.

I definitely think his body could fill out to 147 and 154. I'm not sure how his power will translate to at that level. Especially considering he'll be going up against guys bigger than him at those weights.
The hands issue also gives me a lot of pause for concern. Hurt his hand the last 2 fights. Brittle hands is a bytch, and the last thing we need is for that to derail his career

I could see him as high as 154 late in his career...he can actually box so his decline in power in the higher weights won't hurt him as much
Im being optimistic bout his hands...he had bone spurs...they took em out N the Dr said hes good as new so hopefully thats the end of these problems

i like him tho. i think he should hurry up and get belts at 130 and 135.
stay at 135 and try to grow into 140 naturlly cuz the big money fights are at 140 and up.
all in all i think the sky is the limit but i also said the same thing tons in the past and been wrong

Nah, can't co-sign that. Especially the bigger part.
Oscar captured the American and the Female fanbase. Sure Verdejo will be able to top that. Maybe if he learns to speak English, that would definitely help. And unlike Trinidad, he actually is determined to learn and speak English
