Your kid being old enough to play a co-op game with them?

2 weeks ago I dusted off my NES and played ninja turtles 2 with my 4 yr old son
And
Yesterday I took my 6 yr old daughter to the arcades and we played one of those shooting games together
Even tho they werent the best, it was a great feeling playing a game together with them

I'm the same age breh. I tried dusting off that NES to play some Super Tecmo Bowl and couldn't make it through a half.

That's what's up. Those games be mad fun. I never played emulators on a computer but I'm gonna get one soon. There's still a online community for that. I fukkin love RBI baseball and there's roms out there with updated rosters. It's bugged out. Playing a 1990 baseball game with a 2013 roster.

My kids gotten so much better at Resident Evil 4. It's crazy to see him blast a few zombies, like he couldn't even move the character but now he's running with Leon and everything

I've been trying to get him into to fighting games but he likes playing Abes Odsessy more right now.

Only thing that worries me sometimes is he likes to play the game too much. In the morning thats the first thing he wants to do but we're pretty good about keeping him busy, giving him homework, and making him earn that play time.

Yea Abe's oddysee is a fun puzzle type game for kids. They think the farting is cute. I'll let them play around with the nintendo once every other week or so. I'm old enough to remember when kids actually played outside. If its nice out I force them to be outside. I rather them be outside playing with dirt than inside playing video games. It's a thin line. I want them to learn how to play but I don't want them to just want to do that. The kids from this generation scare me with that staying in their room all day on a computer shyt.
With that said, playing video games with them was one of my happier moments in life
I can't wait til their actually good enough to give me competition.
And the day they beat me in street fighter I might fukk around and buy them a car
