What you think about this diet

Ok I finally got a normal 9-6 job again so I have been much more strict on going to the gym and what I eat. I found that with this meal I am able to stay full through out the day and keep the cals low and protein high. I drink the protein shakes in between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner and after dinner. I am currently 6' 4" 220 trying to get down to 210 before I start bulking up. I guess this is a pretty severe cal deficiency but it really does not seem too bad.

FYI: I am currently doing the PHAT program and have been on and off for about 8 months. I have taken the last two months off and really fallen off so trying to grind hard to get it back ASAP.

protein too

id jack it up to atleast 2000, and the protein well above 170

The only thing that's gonna happen if you drop your calories too low is that you're body is going to think it's starving and make you gain. results don't come overnight, but if you do it right they will last longer. 1300 cals would be in the super low end for me, and certainly not enough for a male (I assume) doing PHAT.

Use an online macronutrient calculator to best calculate your caloric and macro needs and stick to that. Any lower could have the opposite effect.

1300 cals just ain't worth it when half of that is coming from shakes and spread out over an entire day. Don't torture yourself like that breh.

If you're not an ectomorph I wouldn't get so hung up on protein intake.

:huhldup: That's how many calories I eat per day, and I'm barely not hungry. Can't imagine how you feel eating so little.:whew:

Ight so ima try to up my protein by adding 3 more shakes through out the day and it also going to give me 600 more calories

Why do the shakes? Eat food, those 600 cals could be six pieces of talapia at 120 grams of protein or 4 chicken breast with similar protein
