I love about 80% of the songs on the rest of dudes albums except for Ball Street Journal. That's the only 40 album that was lackluster to me.

I've been a spinning a playlist from his last 7 albums(70 songs from Revenue Retrievin & The Block Brochure) for a while now. I love them shyts, so many dope songs on these joints. I'm truly shocked my nikka 40 still making such quailty music til this very day. The rest of the dudes I loved from that era been done fell off. E-40 got one of the Goat discogs in hip hop history, fukk the haters.

And if he cut these newer albums down to 1 album he could be droppin flawless albums still..........ballstreet journal was the weak spot in his discog,I think that's the album where he wuz goin for the masses,slowed it down so the squares could understand it......I don't know if it wuz by his hand or the labels.....but he been droppin heat since he been back independent,sickwitit nice wit the inhouse production.....40 still rippin and B-la sound better than ever too.
