Kinda funny how Opio mentioned how he didn't like the commercialization of hip-hop.
Little did he know...
what issue is this?
EDIT: I'm guessing sometime between September and December because it says "as the new year approaches"
20+ yrs later and we still complaining about the same shyt. I think there has been progress in what Romye wanted to see. Technology has improved and streamlined the recording/engineering process
To me ODB was wackODB ain't lying.
Some of these nikas can't rap.![]()
Hip-Hop production being less advanced and inferior now is your personal opinion.west coast nikkas had all the answers
let the people decide the direction of hiphop, but especially about the school that creates better hiphop producers.....we in 2017 and nikkas from the 60's and 70's,80's AND 90's who had less access to instruments, less access to studio equipment were all more advanced then us....i know alot of that goes with funding in shcool music programs, but you would think hiphop artist would invest in creating a more advanced musical sound to advance the artform.....nikkas still gotta sample old shyt from 40 years ago cuz they cant make it themselves![]()
The focus on maintaining the integrity and authenticity of the music.
